Understand the channel before you invest in it
Digital marketing should not feel deliberately complicated. The right approach depends on your immediate objective, website readiness, available budget and how quickly you need to see progress.
These are the questions we are asked most often by startups and SMBs considering SEO, PPC or Paid Social.
Digital marketing FAQs
Choosing a channel, setting expectations and understanding where Koupe Media can help.
Explore all digital services →What does a digital marketing agency do?
A digital marketing agency helps businesses improve online visibility, attract relevant people and turn more of that interest into enquiries or sales. At Koupe Media, our core services are SEO, PPC and Paid Social.
Is digital marketing worth it for startups and SMBs?
It can be, provided the channel matches your goal and the business is ready to make use of the traffic or enquiries it creates. A focused campaign with clear measurement is usually more effective than spreading a limited budget across every channel.
How long does digital marketing take to work?
PPC and Paid Social can begin generating traffic after campaigns launch, although performance normally improves through testing. SEO takes longer because it builds organic visibility over time, with momentum commonly developing over several months.
Do you work with startups and SMBs?
Yes. Koupe Media is built for startups and SMBs that want clear advice, flexible support and realistic recommendations without an oversized agency retainer.
How do I know which digital marketing service I need?
You do not need to decide before contacting us. A complimentary review helps us understand your website, current activity, priorities and budget before recommending the most sensible first step.
Do you work with businesses across the UK?
Yes. We work remotely with businesses throughout the UK, while also supporting companies in Manchester, Newcastle, Chester and the surrounding areas.
SEO FAQs
What SEO involves, when progress becomes visible and how ongoing optimisation supports long-term growth.
View SEO services →What is SEO and how does it work?
SEO, or search engine optimisation, improves how easily your website can be found for relevant searches. It combines keyword and search-intent research, technical improvements, on-page optimisation, useful content, internal linking and ongoing performance analysis.
How long does SEO take to show results?
SEO is a longer-term channel. Foundations are normally established during the first month, with momentum often building from months two to three onwards. The exact timeframe depends on your website, market, competition and starting position.
Do you offer local SEO?
Yes. Our local SEO services cover Google Business Profile optimisation, location and service-area targeting, local landing pages, citation consistency, review guidance and stronger visibility in local search results.
Will SEO work for my industry?
SEO can support most industries where people use search engines to research products, compare providers or find services. We assess search demand, competition, commercial intent and website readiness before recommending the level of investment.
What is included in an SEO campaign?
Typical work includes keyword research, technical monitoring, priority-page optimisation, content planning or delivery, internal linking, local SEO where relevant, reporting and practical recommendations. The exact deliverables depend on the package and current priorities.
Do you provide SEO audits?
Yes. Our complimentary SEO audit identifies the main technical, content and visibility opportunities. It gives you a clear overview of what may be limiting performance and where to focus next.
Is SEO a one-time project or ongoing?
Some technical or on-page tasks can be completed as one-off projects, but consistent SEO growth normally requires ongoing work. Search behaviour, competitors, website content and search-engine systems continue to change over time.
Paid Social FAQs
Platforms, creative requirements and what to expect when advertising to new and existing audiences.
View Paid Social services →What is Paid Social advertising?
Paid Social uses advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn to reach selected audiences. It can introduce your business to new people, retarget existing audiences and support leads, bookings or online sales.
Which social platforms do you advertise on?
Facebook and Instagram are managed together through Meta Ads. TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest can be added where the platform, audience and available creative make commercial sense.
Is Paid Social suitable for SMBs?
Yes, particularly when the business has a clear offer, usable creative assets and enough budget to test properly. Audience targeting, exclusions, messaging and the route from advert to conversion all affect performance.
Do you create the advertising content?
Creative production is not included unless specifically agreed. You provide the core photos, videos or product assets, and we provide creative direction, advertising hooks, campaign copy, testing recommendations and performance feedback. Video editing is available separately.
How quickly can Paid Social campaigns launch and improve?
Campaigns typically launch within five to ten working days, depending on access, tracking and creative readiness. Early results can appear quickly, but dependable performance usually requires ongoing testing of audiences, creative, messaging and offers.
Can you review an existing Paid Social account?
Yes. A complimentary Paid Social Audit looks at campaign structure, audiences, exclusions, tracking, creative performance and potential areas of wasted spend.
PPC FAQs
Google Ads, recommended budgets and how paid search can capture people already looking for what you offer.
View PPC services →What is PPC advertising?
PPC means pay-per-click advertising. It allows your business to appear for selected searches and pay when someone clicks the advert. Strong campaign structure, relevant keywords, negative keywords, useful landing pages and accurate tracking are essential.
How quickly can PPC generate leads?
PPC can begin generating traffic as soon as campaigns are approved and live. Campaigns normally launch within seven to ten working days, depending on account access, conversion tracking and website readiness. Lead quality and efficiency improve through ongoing optimisation.
How much should I spend on PPC?
Many SMBs begin with an advertising budget of approximately £15–£50 per day, but the right amount depends on your industry, location, competition, typical cost per click and conversion value. Advertising spend is separate from our management fee.
Do you manage Google Ads?
Yes. Our Google Ads management covers campaign planning, keyword and search-intent research, ad copy, negative keywords, bid and budget optimisation, search-term analysis, conversion checks and reporting.
Do you offer PPC audits?
